Fall Workshop with Jill Reese
Cultivating a Community of Composers
This workshop will focus on composition through the connection
between improvisation and notation.
The presenter will illustrate strategies guided by experience and
research in creativity, improvisation and composition. Readiness activities and a sequential
process for purposeful composition will be demonstrated.

Come see and experience the differences and similarities
between four approaches to composition in the general music classroom. Presentations will be made by teachers certified
in Dalcroze, Gordon, Kodály, and Orff-Schulwerk.
