-Participants will meet from 8:30-5:00 on Monday
through Friday of both weeks.
-Dormitory
housing and a meal plan are available through Rhode Island College.
-Participants pursuing the Mastership Level I Certification should have some prior knowledge of
and background in Music Learning Theory.
-Before
enrolling in a Mastership Level I Certification program, participants should be able to sing rote songs in a variety for tonalities
and meters and chant in a variety of meters. They should also be able to sing tonal patterns in major and minor tonalities
and chant rhythm patterns in usual duple and triple meters as demonstrated on "Developing Musicianship." "Developing
Musicianship" is available through GIA Publications to help you develop the skills necessary for GIML Mastership Level I.
-Registration is $100 and the workshop fee is $490.
-7.5 CEU's/PDP's are available
for an additional $75
-Undergraduate and graduate credits are available too.
